When the time came that I was unable to look after myself and had to ask for help I could not have found safer hands to pass my mother to.  At last she is pain free and at peace.

Out of all the care homes I’ve visited during my 10 years this is the care home with the most loyal and consistent staff, which is a credit to both Ian the owner and Fiona the manager.

Lovat House, Fiona the Manager and I enjoy a good rapport and communicate comfortably with one another.  They have also consistently paid me on time over the 10 year which is a big plus working in any care home, and it makes me pleased to work alongside them and feel respected.

Mum and I would like to thank you and your wonderful team for making Mum’s 100^thbirthday celebrations so memorable. Everyone was so kind and attentive to make Doris feel very special both on her “special” birthday and on her celebration day with her family and friends.  And a big thank you to you all for making Doris’s visitors so very welcome to her wonderful home.

To All Staff: May I take this opportunity to say a big “THANK YOU” to you all for the care shown to my mum whilst she was staying with you. Despite all the problems you had with his ex-wife you always looked after Colin ensuring his comfort and wellbeing.

You always kept us informed of any changes in his health and ensured that he was not alone when he was on his last journey.

Dear Friends, It has now been three weeks since Dad died and we miss him so very much. Since he moved to Lovat House we were able to spend more time together which was lovely.  He was very happy with being so close to us and for the care and kindness he received from you all.  I cannot thank you enough for the attention he received.  He loved having his tomatoes and beans this summer and being out in the garden.  A simple pleasure provided by you that means so much to him.  Our sincere thanks to you all.
